kuna PercussionKuna Percussion is made up of all the percussion students in the Band Program. This group provides the percussion sections for both the Wind Ensemble and Concert Band. Students in the percussion section work to build fundamental, rudimental and technical skills and also perform percussion ensemble works.
Membership in Kuna Percussion is open to students in grades 9 - 12. Membership in Kuna Percussion serves as their "regular band class". Percussion students work on marching band (drumline/front ensemble) during the first part of the year and then transition to concert band works beginning in November. Kuna High School also has a winter percussion group: Kuna Indoor Percussion! Students work on a percussion show with marching and music to be performed in the winter months at competitions and basketball games.
