Kuna, Idaho is a city of more than 15,000 residents situated in Ada County. The city is served by the Kuna School District which has a mission to inspire each of their approximately 5,000 students to become lifelong learners and contributing, responsible citizens. The Kuna School District offers quality programs in all academic areas, including arts, trades, and athletics. The Kuna High School Band Program includes about 150 of these students and creates a variety of academic and performing opportunities.
The goal of the Kuna High School Band Program is to provide students with a well-balanced music education centered around band performance. Students involved in this program will learn about responsibility, time-management, relationships, musical expression, discipline, dedication, music theory and gain skills relative to their instrument. Band students will be able to experience a variety of music and music ensembles. This education will help prepare students for post-secondary educational opportunities and vocations related to music or otherwise.
