Kuna Wind EnsembleThe Kuna Wind Ensemble is the premier performance ensemble in the Band Program and features the finest wind and percussion players at Kuna High School. This competitive ensemble performs contemporary and standard works for wind band, as well as transcriptions and new works. The Wind Ensemble works to give students the skills for a higher level of performance and artistry while helping juniors and seniors to prepare for scholarship auditions and college-level playing.
Each year the Wind Ensemble performs at several local and out-of-area events. These events include various local concerts, community events, the District III Band Festival, BSU Band Clinic, Graduation and Concert Clinics. The Kuna Wind Ensemble frequently travels as part of a spring performance tour at special events such as the Disney Performing Arts Series. Membership in the Wind Ensemble is open to students by audition only. The ensemble begins rehearsing at the conclusion of marching band, and participation in marching band is a requirement for membership. Kuna Wind Ensemble Auditions will be during November.
